Recruitment Resources

The Boys’ Brigade has produced a range of resources to support local Companies in recruiting children, young people and volunteers.

Below you can find out more about the resources that are available:

Under 11’s Resources (for those working with Anchor/Junior Sections)  
Your first port of call when considering recruiting with this age group is the Recruitment Tool Box. This is your guide to recruitment for under 11's, the booklet contains lots of ideas on how your Company could recruit including a self-assessment tool which can you to understand where you stand currently.

In addition to the Tool Box there are also other resources available to download from the recruitment pages on the BB website.

Leaflets and posters have been designed for both children and parents/carers (Anchors and Juniors) ; all of these have space for local details to be added.

Badges are available and can be awarded to any member of The Boys' Brigade. The Bronze, Silver and Gold badges are awarded to those recruiting 1, 3 or 5 members respectively. The badge is to be worn on the extreme right bottom row of the right armband.

Volunteer Resources (for those recruitment adult volunteers)

This is your guide to recruitment for volunteers; the booklet contains lots of ideas on how your Company could recruit. In addition there is advice on the selection, management and retention of volunteers, as well as a self-assessment tool to help your Company.
